Hi Tom,
Sorry for the delay in my answer I’m on holiday with limited access to the computer.
Your questions are really interesting. Is really difficult to know what type of traffic is going to use the link it depends of too many factors (user profiles, type of service offered,…).
I give you all the info that I have about the information that you are requesting.
1 and 2: It doesn’t exist an official price list for these systems. You need to treat each project individually because there are a lot of elements that affects the performance of the link. If you have a project to evaluate send me an email to tonimarcon@gmail.com and we will discuss about it.
3: You can find this information in the datasheet of the equipment (Chapter 5)
4: It depends of several factors (antenna, distance, diversity techniques,…). You can find a reference of the Receiver Thresholds in Chapter 7 of the datasheet.
Here is the datasheet: https://www.telequismo.com/descarga?did=181
If you need any other information just tell me and I can give you the contact of the vendor.
Regards.
]]>Interested to know why (and what) type of traffic affects data rate. Which also begs the question of ‘how often’ the type of traffic that limits the data rate is going to be experienced. These are the hard questions a carrier will ask.
Others are the:
1. Costs of one complete radio system
2. Costs of two complete radio systems (for MIMO)
3. Link ranges as a function of capacity
4. Link availability as a function of capacity
Cheers.
